I was just wondering about how old most of us are on here. And rather than get ignored by asking specifically how old people are, I thought a this would work just as well. so, don't be shy, and spill the beans! Smile

for the record, i'm 34...BLAH! where did the time go??? Smile

I will be 49 in December. Besides being a type 1 diabetic and having had 17 surgeries, I don't feel a day older than 200.

A good friend of mine, who is a diabetic nurse practitioner, told me I should feel pretty good considering everyone she knows who is in my condition is dead.
Cool

I just saw a guy getting a tattoo in a show called Miami Ink. I guess I never knew how serious it was. The guy who got the shot had to do 10 insulin shots a day. I guess we should be thankful there is even a shot to be given, right.

Don't die on us, Mr S.W.! What would we do without this place and you! Smile

Anywho, I just turned 30 on July 9th of this month. I went up in the age bracket!

Well, I'm an immature acting 56 year old. My kids are on their own (sort of) and my wife and I are focusing on what we want to be when we "grow up". All kidding aside, we are planning to take up Kayaking and have two trips already planned for this Fall. Rolling Eyes

I'll be hitting the double nickle in Oct. I'm just amazed I made it past 30 considering the crazy things I did in my teens and 20's. My aching body always reminds me of them.

I'm starting to feel a bit better about the age thing. For a while I was under the impression that I was the only one on the "other side" of the Half Century Mark.

What's really interesting is the age group is pretty well dispersed, and everyone seems to connect very well. Kudos to DVDCoverArt for really establishing a "community".

OK some of us are a bit weird - but what's an old dog know anyway?

P.S. Mosae - I know what you mean, I act like a puppydog Laughing

I'm 35, but I feel right at home. Most of my friends are between 45 and mid sixties.

Nothing against the young pups, but now I know why this site is the quality site that it is. It is apparent that we are a rather mature community with plenty of life experiences to go around. Yet despite our maturity we are all young at heart, even though our bodies don't always agree.

My daughter recently went skydiving. As I was watching her descend, I thought to myself, I can do that. But then the pain in my neck said, "Hey, I have been fused 3 times," and my lower back said, "Well, don't forget get that I was fused last year." And my left knee said, "Oh yea, well I have been operated on 3 times and been replaced twice, so I don't want to hear it from any of you." When my Heart asked if he could say something, they all said "No." I asked if I had a say in any of this, and to my surprise and utter shock, in unison they all yelled, "Hell No."

P.S. I notice Boneapart hasn't made a comment or told us his age. If I remember correctly, he is 110.

That was exactly what I was interested in when I posted this poll. Just wanted to get an idea on where we were as a whole...not concerned with any individual person.

So...where is Yoda...err....Boneapart with his input? Wink
