movie about a "master sniper" who is asked to help the fbi anticipate how a sniper might attempt to assasinate the president. he assists his government, but in turn is framed for the attempted assasination. i thought this was pretty good. fast moving and not 100% predictable . grade: B/B+

I saw it, liked it too. I enjoy Mark Wahlbergs work. _________________ No matter how many times you try...you can't clone the dirt off your screen. |

Shooter is definately worth a look, twisty turny thriller with Mark Wahlberg quietly getting on with some good solid acting work - quite an under-rated fella! (mind you, I liked the Planet of the Apes remake! yikes!) _________________ imagination is more important than knowledge |

I also liked this movie. I even bought it.

Believe it or not, I am still hoping they do a sequel to the Planet of the Apes Remake. _________________ DVDCoverArt

I liked that remake as well.... and definetly wouldn't mind seeing a sequel to it. Specialy if they do as good a job on it _________________ For every person with a spark of genius, there are a hundred with ignition trouble. |

Gah! sacriledge! The first Planet of the Apes was topical and delivered a powerful message at the appropriate time. The remake wasn't even remotely close to being as good, new special effects or not.

Now then, that being said, I like mark wahlberg too and generally seem to enjoy his movies. Shooter was a good one, worth a watch. |
