Sleeping Beauty

Pffffffffff.......... This was a tough one, Disney decided to alter the Sleeping Beauty figure into Princes Aurora
and everything about it is PINK!!!!.
The original picture (1959) was quite dark: brown, black, etc.
So i changed the pink into the more original colors.
Because there was less art for the back i created the shield and banner myself.
I only have to make the labels before i upload.

The extra effort you put into your work is evident by the exceptional work you consistently produce.

I wonder how many members realize the amount of work that went into creating this cover. You might want to consider explaining what you had to do in the Photoshop Tips & Tricks section. I know I would be interested.

@DVDCoverArt.: Making this kind of things is one, but explaining how things are done i think is very difficult.
Because i have a Dutch Photoshop and my English isn't good enough to explain some things. I work allot with a kind of trail and error method so sometimes a picture can be altered a hundred times before i am satisfied.
Usually i know in my head what i want to achieve, then i have to find pictures and not always the pictures resemble what is in my head so i have to alter them.
I use allot of my own artwork (like brushes, styles, patrons etc.).

I can try to make a tutorial not for the whole cover but for some elements.

I am glad that the twinkling stars are only 2 layers.
I don't have always the time for it but i don't have any rush to finish my covers and for this cover i worked 1 month, on and off.
So sometimes i am very slow........ hehehe........
